Day 106 --> M2 Day 24

Hey Shredders

Went swimming again today and actually had a better workout there in 2 hours than any of my previous 3 hour sessions.
I went there with a friend of mine today and we made up the "swimming" olympics.
Most of the discilines involved racing. Freestyle, breaststroke, sidestroke and back-swimming races made up half of the games.
The other half was all about distance diving. Seing how far you can get with how many strokes compared to eachother.
Then the underwater race, in which we raced underwater for 1 lap
And lastly a total distance underwater swim. I made out for 46 metres(almost 2 entire laps underwater) and my competitor made the full 2 laps(50 metres).
All that really took the air out of me, but hey, i won everything exept for the final underwater distance swim i just wrote about, lol.
At the beginning of the summer he beat me in everything without exeption.

Also 46 metres underwater is a huge step towards my goal of 65 meters underwater that i plan on accomplishing before i leave for basic training.

Otherwise i only did a few Pull Ups today. I simply was too worn out from the strenous water olympics.
(and the chemicals in the water really messes up your eyes.)

I havent checked the scale in several days, but i will again tomorrow morning. I think that i have stayed fairly consistant without any major weight gain.
Also i will start taking daily pictures from tomorrow on again. Gotta get this good old habit going again.

Well thats all for today.
Shred on everyone

Danny

Looked like you had a lot of fun! I see you've got a competitive streak in you.

By the way, I haven't forgotten about your pushup challenge; I'll be doing it together with my new program. One of the exercises is 3 sets of pushups to failure, though it's after doing bench presses, so I may be a bit handicapped. I'll let you know when I start hitting my personal bests on those again.

Danny, your training-program sounds massive, just great!

I also struggle with the chlorin in the water, did you every try to train with swimming-goggles?

Juli

P.S.: I am still on the push-up-missin, every day 100. :-)
