Hey Shredders
It seems like yesterday, that i started the blog to hold myself accountable... well actually, thats untrue.
I know that phrase is used alot, but for me it seemed like the longest days in my life(seriously). However it was allthemore fun and exiting, as my days seemed to last longer than before and i could enjoy my training, nutrition(even if it was hard), and of course the shredder-universe i am lucky to have found at the time i did. Thanks to Adam who took the extra step, throwing the snowball, that has now become an avalanche of shredders.
Also thanks to all commenters. As i said many times before i really appreciate all of your support alot. Thanks also to the Larry, Ron and Juli for joining the push up challenges.
Im really looking forward to the next 50 days now.
Today I finally got to go swimming. The weather was very nice and sunny today. Even if it only bordered at 23 celcius, i enjoyed the swim.
Tomorrow im heading to the gym again, possibly in combination with swimming again, depending on weather conditions.
Funny thing today about my pushups for the challenge.
When i was doing my last 15 pushups today to finish at 210 pushups, my dad came in and demanded i do 10 right after i stood up from doing 15.
You see, my dad was in the army almost 2 decades ago, and strongly supports, me joining the military. Once in a while, when i see him at home, he randomly asks for push-ups. I dont really mind most of the time, however today when i just finished my last pushups, after doing several sets of 30, 25 and 20(each number several times) push ups during the last 30 minutes, i was really burnt out when he demanded 10 more.
I tried to tell him, that i had just finished my push ups, however he stayed stubborn and demanded i do another 10, since he didnt see me doing the last ones, when he wasnt there.
I guess it was good, since i ended up with 220 push ups today, and i notice now more than ever, that ill have to get more used to following orders unconditionally.
There are no "but"'s or "why"'s in the military afterall.
Well ill leave it at that today.
Nutrition was according to plan, ancd i got my protein in as well.
I updated the Challenge Chart, just now, so it should be accurate.
Thanks again for participating in it with me.
Good Night
Shred on
Danny

Congratulations on reaching 50 days! Keep it up! Everything is going in your direction!
Hey Danny,
That's a whole lot of push-ups. I would be happy to do that many in a year! lol. When do you go into the military?
Hi Danny. May I ask where you are about in Germany? There are a couple of military bases. How long have you been in Deutschland?
I am currently in Austria and Switzerland for (mountainous terrain) helicopter pilot training, but I live in Hong Kong normally.
Good luck swimming. At least down here it's supposed to be nice and warm all week long.

lilla: You'll get there in time ^_^. I fyou ever have the urge to join up, leave a comment.
Im leaving for San Antonio, Lackland, in November for basic training.
Im still to get the exact date. I guess mid-november though.
alex: Ive been in germany since I was 4. But we only speak english and go on trips there several times a year. Im eager to get back to my homeland, hehe.
I live in the west of germany, about 2 hours away from the netherland-germany border.
Your right, there are quite a few bases in germany, however onbly few for the airforce. I had to drive for 4 hours to reach the closest, rammstein-airforcebase.
Weather is supposed to be really good over the weekend, but im a bit busy with softball games on sunday, so itll be hard to swim that day, with the availible time.
Juli: Am Happy to have you in the competition juli.
Shred on everyone.
Danny
P.S.: AL, juan, any interests of joining? For a detailed description, just look under your last comments, al.
