This post is about my PRW, my powerfull reason why and about me myself.
Sorry to let this wait untill now, but heres a bit about me
My Name is Daniel Perry and i live in Germany.
Im 18 Years old now.
Im half American and Half German.
Im 6.2 and weigh 220 lbs/100 kg.
I aim on joining the US Airforce late this Year or early next year, depending on the waiting list.
I was never Skinny and always somewhat overweight.
I was never too terrible when it came to phisical looks, but that thanks to bagy clothes and so on.
My bodyfat is at 28 % which many sources on the internet think of as abocve overweight and more obese.
I was actually surprised and somewhat shattered when i saw my bodyfar percentage on the new scale we bought. I wonder how accurate these things are as i dont look Obese.
This is actually my second challenge.
My lowest point was 15 days before my birthday on April 25th this Year when i weighed a total of 107.5 kg.
I set my goal at 100 kg till my birthday, through nothing but eating less.
I left away any sort of snack meal or dinner meal and just ate lunch every day.
I ended up with 101.5 kg.
Since then i went up to 103 in only a few days and kept it there till little more than a week ago.
When doing push ups i noticed a stinging pain in my right shoulder, but chose to ignore it for about a week, untill it got to the point where every push up was a really painfull challenge.
The doctor did an X-Ray on my shoulder and neck and found a dislocated part of my spine.
Even though he quickly fixed it, i was told to quit any weight lifting over the next full week.
And I did. However when you stop moving, your body of course doesnt.
I quickly put on another kilogram, then measuring at 104 kg.
At that point I was just searching the web all day for workout tips that i could apply lateron.
It was then that I stumbled onto a video on youtube about a Real Time Phisique transformation.
84 days in 48 seconds, by Adam Waters.
I quickly went through more than half of his blog, continuing to read through the night and ignoring sleep.
the next morning I vowed myself to also shred to change my appearance and transform my body, before i join the USAF. I want to be in top shape for it.
So what could i do when not beeing able to lift weights?
The answer came o me swiftly.... Cardio.
My goal was to go down to 98 kg
On the first 2 days i burnt 2000 calories on running, 1000 each day in a contiouous session.
After that i went swimming each day which pressures your muscle without overloading them unlike weight training. Swimming is a great full body workout. Especially for ABS.
And the last wednesday i succeeded and reached 98kg feeling healthier than ever.
It was then I bought the scale to see that i am according to it obese.
Over the weekend on the softball tournament i was fairly active however i also dug into the alcohol and slept only little while eating lots of food.
Yesterday i was back at 99.9 kg. Damn, was i happy to see i hadn't broken the 100 barrier, but i was also angry at myself for letting it come that far.
Now im back on track and want to lose all of the "Obesity Fat".
My Aim now is to go all the way down to 90 kg while holding and increasing my muscle. Ive already lost 7 kg in total. The next 10 will however be alot harder than what i lost sofar.
Do I have a Powerfull reason why?
The answer is Yes. Indeed i have several.
The first is of course to exell in the Air Force
Then even more than that i want to finally be in shape, in both muscle and fat.
And the Last I can think of now is because i want to learn more about what actually works and doesnt work in workouts. Including becoming wiser as to what supplements to take, if any or how to arrange rest days or reward/cheat meals. In one word: Knowledge.
If you want to check out Adam's Page, just go to http://www.rtp-blog.com/ or for his newer site http://www.rtp-blog-2.com/. If you too want to try and turn it all around, then i strongly reccomend, you visit his site and watch his videos.
Anyhow, thats it from me for today.
Gotta get a good nights sleep
Seeya all tomorrow
Good Night
