Hello shredders.
I know this is a day early, but ill be travelling all day tomorrow.
a 2 and a half hour drive to the airport, then waiting for an hour for our 9 hour flight to atlanta, and wait for another 2 hours for our 1-2 hour flight to tampa bay. And by the time we have the car, and are settled down in the hotel itll be another hour or two later.
I may or my not have internet tomorrow. The website tells about free wireless internet, but im not sure how true that is. Luck isnt usually on my side when it about having internet or fast internet.
Also were leaving real early in the monring(6 am), so pre-travel training is out of question.
So Im putting up my Mission 1 Phase 2 Results today.
I deffinetely improved my pushups since the start of phase 2 and in general, and even though i doubt that my max count is at 60 as pre-determined im satisfied with the result.
I already accomplished my pre-determined 500 meter swimming goal a while ago and shot past my goal easily.
The running part im not entirely sure if i exactly reached the goal of 1.5 miles in 10.45 min, since i havent tried to run that distance at high speed in a while. It remains to be seen, but im sure that if i didnt already reach it, i will till the beginning of october where i will actually need my results for the military test so i can shoot for the special-forces job im aiming at.(i think ive written about this some time ago though)
As for pullups i made some mayor improvements over the last DAYS. Strangely enough my Pull Ups didnt really iomprove alot and i was stuck at 2 and a half over the last few weeks. Now i can do my 5 in a row. My goal of 8 wasnt reached, but im happy with the sudden progress. I can finally feel some real lat muscles on my back :)
TO the well defioned 4 pack i so dearly crave(d), judge yourself. Its deffinetely a 4 pack in my oppinion, however if deffinition can be questioned.
TO my last goal of gaining upper body strength, i know i succeeded, as i feel, am and(in my oppinion) look a good ammount stronger at the end of this mini mission.
Since my vacation so convieniently coincides(yesh right, lol) with my vacation to the states, I wont start a new mission till the day I come back. I will be shredding all i can but i dont really have the possibilities over there if compared to what i have going here right now.
Also this trip is to a certain degree a kind of redemption for me.
Last year we went to tampa bay and watched a couple of basball games(redsox vs. devilrays), and that was very close to my lowest point in fitness(maybe a kilo less than my worst).
And now we are again travelling to tampa to watch a few more games(same teams again).
Now you see, i have a redsox jersey, that fit me years ago, but was way to small last year in tampa. It was because of my fitness level of course. Now i can wear that very same jersy and have space to bring in 3 illegal immigrants, a pizza, a stack of paper and a lava-lamp or two without it beeing noticed, lol. Funny how things work out.
Also i think im gonna buy a new belt soon, as the belt that didnt fit me before is getting too small for the purpose. Im at the last hole and moving to less.
So thats my redemption trip more or less, hehe.
I dont have any before pic's from tampa and im not taking my laptop to take pictures in the streets, lol.
Also after that im going down to boston where i will see my american half of the family who literally saw me the last time when i was at the worst point in my fitness life. Hope they are ready for a surprize.
Well ill get to todays occurances before i leave(its 2 am here).
Today I went to the gym with the friend i work out at the gym with, and ended up leaving 10 minutes later.
My buddy was going onto a machine where you bottom part of your body is supported while you lay on your stomache, and you do reverse sit-ups.
Anyhow, as he went on it, he messed up and didnt hook in his feet properly, and as he bent forward he quite violently crashed to the ground headfirst. Last second he tried to catch himself with his hands.
He jumped right back u as anyone would do after beeing hurt and tried to play it off like it was nothing. As he rushed to another machiune to continue training, i notices that he was bleeding from the face.
He didnt admit it at first but after a few minutes he calmed down and even said that he was in knid of a shock-state for the moment.
It wasnt anything much, just a bit of scraped swin on his face and elbow.
But somehow he hit his middle finger while trying to catch himself and that was beginning to swell. So i drove him over to the local hospital.
That killed my gym session today pretty quickly.
His finger is just a little banged up. Nothing broken or anything though.
Well i hope your still with me after this long tale. No pushups today. Tat was all planned into the gym session which was cancelled, and with all the hassle of packing i didnt get to it.

P.S.: By the way i reached my lowest weight today, like i anticipated. 88 kg. Thats 19.5 kg less than my worst.

You will make it until your military-test, the US air-force would be "stupid" not to accept your application.
