Day 2

Hey Shredders.

I completed day 2 and feel great.

Firstoff I tried out a pushup improvement plan which i found on a link at "Shari's Fit at Fifty" blog
I can say that it really works.

Doing 10 pushups
60 second rest
Doing 10 pushups
60 second rest
Doing 8
60 second rest
doing 6
60 second rest
doing a exhaustion set, which lasted 8 pushups for me

Also i added another 60 second break, and another exhaustion set after this( 5 push ups), just to crank up my training a notch.

After that, while mowing the second part of the lawn the guy came by and asked me if i was in the mood to go swimming again.
I quickly agreed, and ended up staying almost 3 hours at the pool, swimming.
Its about a 1.5 km walk down a very steep hill to get down to where the pool is.
Walking down is fine, but getting back up lateron, after swimming for almost 3 hours always proves to be a real pain(and as i now discovered a great "on the side" training method. )

Anyhow, when i got home, i thought" ah screw it, i did enough cardio today, ill try out HIIT tomorrow.
I had a couple hours of rest before i got the urge to try out HIIT anyways.
Well, so much for the shower i had at the pool, since HIIT made me look like i just got out of the pool.

I warmed up at 6 km, walking for 3 and a half minutes.
Started out with 12 km/h for 1 minute, then 1 minute 8 km/h jog.
I repeated this and then moved on
14 km/h for 1 minute and 8 km/h jog.
I also did this twice before going to the last stage
16 km/h for 1 minute and a 8 km/h jog.
Lastly another 16 km/h sprint for another minute.

I feel more awake than i would usually at this time a day, as i think HIIT did its job and raised my metabolism.
After the HIIT i had my protein + water shake just as planned, so i wont be burning those leg muslces i trained over the last weeks.

I also had my 3 lites of water , counting my protein shake as well.

Well thats it for day 2.
Ill be shredding hard tomorrow again, with some Lactic acid training and probably some more running.(not sure how often to use HIIT, since i dont want to damage the muscles by overtraining)

Ill see you all tomorrow.

Good Night
Shred on

You'lll make good headway with the push-up drill. Keep at it consistently.

Hope so. I heard, pushups also do a great deal to strenghten your core.

I know, its spelled, physique improvement xD
But this makes it a bit more original, as im oretty sure that there are hundreds of sites with the "physique" instead of the "phisique".

Hi and thanks, juli ^^
