Hey readers.
Well today I completed my training as planned.
I did some lactic acid training on my arms.
No swimming today but i got another HIIT session in today, going:
12-8-12-8-12-8-14-8-14-8-16-8-16 km/h + 4 minutes of warmup.
I added another 12 km/h period today to increase intensity.
Also today I managed to entirely burn of what i layed on during the tournaments.
I currently weigh 96 kg, which is my personal best by .9 kg less than last time.
Im very satisfied with my results sofar and hope, that tomorrow ill manage again to reach anew personal best. Also i had my 3 litres of water today.
Also today I want to say... if you are on a weight loss mission and only eat so much a day...
DONT go on relatives birthdays.
My grandfather turned 65 today and we went to the little family party thing they always do.
3 monster pizzas, looking like they were made by heavens best cooks + relatives wanting you to eat some, or at least a slice......
That was truly a dreadfull experience, as i had the taste of it was in my mouth without me even having any...
I managed to stay clean on the food, but I must say, It wouldnt have taken much more...
I see it as a terrible test of will... trying to constantly remind yourself, why you are doing this, why you are working out, why you are eating less and all.
I kept drinking water throughout the meal, to keep my hunger at bay, which in it was already strange, as i was one of the 2 that drank water. The other is my great grandmother who cant really deal with caffeine that well. =P.
I think adam said this planty of times, but even family can be motivation vampires.
Anyhow, i passed that test, and am done for today.
Im not 100 % sure if i will do cardio tomorrow since i did HIIT 2 days in a row now, but i'll probably do it anyways, knowing myself. And tomorrow its pushups again. Also i want to try out some lactic acid training on my abs as well, with several exercises, like leg lifts, or flutter kicks or chrunches.
Ill see you all tomorrow.
Good night.
Danny

great job with the willpower Danny!
Danny,
You are doing an awesome job. Passing up the pizza from heaven is really touch especially with family pushing it on you.
Looks like you have your training well mapped out. What specifically are you doing to create the caloric deficit to "lose the fat and feed the muscle?"
Good work.
I eat a relatively small ammount of lunch, and then every now and then an apple or so on.
I dont quite have the freedom to do 6 meals a day as my family wants me to at least eat some lunch.
But what im doing now is a very big difference from my old eating habits.
Meaning, a small breakfast, a very big lunch, and a big dinner, plus snacks, from chips to muffins and cookies(and ice cream)
Well now im down to a small lunch and a few healthy snacks with little calories.
If a protein shake counts as food, then yeah, i also drink that once a day, as i usually finish my biggest training portion around the eveningtime.
For lactic acid training during the day i usually just have a glass of milk, since its delicious and full of protein.
(I used to think that, drinking alot of milk would help build your body, but if your losing weight, drinking 2-3 litres a day like i used to isnt really that helpfull caloriewise.
Hmm for my lunch i usually have a peace of meat(9 out of 10 times chicken), and then some vegetable side dishes.
I used to eat up to 3 plates full but now im at 1 per lunch.^^
I know im not following a professional diet, but cutting down has worked for me sofar, and im happy with the results ^^
thanks mike and larry btw ^^
Hey Danny, if it is working then keep doin it. BUT, just a word of caution - if you reduce your calories too much you will slow your metabolism down and then it gets progressively harder to continue to lose the fat and you won't have enough energy to do a good job on your workout.
Read this article that Lilla posted the other day.

And, Check out Tom Venuto's website Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle.
http://www.burnandfeed.com/
All good stuff that will get you the results you are looking for.
Unfortunately, you really do need to count calories. It doesn't need to be a professional diet just sensible and within the described parameters.
Keep going Danny. Your passion for this mission will carry you to success!
I know a good deal about the metabloism as the first 2 weeks before this mission i was constantly researching all kinds of diets and workouts.
I know that if i take in alot less calories than needed, ill go into "starvation mode" in which my metabolism slows down.
But sofar Its been working for me very well, so i doubt, that im taking in much less than needed.
Lunch usually is the daily calorie bomb. Yesterday it was 1500 calories in one meal, even though that was one of the big meals.
Im still trying to find away to incorparate smaller meals into my diet as it is. The reason i eat some fruit over the day is actually to keep my metabolism higher, even though i am still left hungry afterwards.
Im considering taking more protein powder as well, however my money at the moment is limited.
As long as this works for me ill continue with it. When i stop seeing results I wont hesitate to change my plans of course.
Ill look into the links you sent me.
Danny
